Urraween has become known as the ‘medical centre’ of Hervey Bay! 

Hervey Bay Hospital and St Stephen’s Hospital are both located in Urraween as are numerous medical facilities and the Medical Precinct which is home to numerous medical services, specialists and doctors.  

Urraween is also home to two very popular and ever growing schools – St James and Bayside Christian College – both located on the Urraween Road. 

Parts of Urraween are high enough that views of the ocean and Fraser Island are available and larger blocks ie; 1,000m2 – 4,000m2; with larger homes can be found on the higher side of Urraween ie: Christensen Street, Jacobson Outlook and the “Ghost Hill’ area.
