Toogoom is nestled between Craignish and Burrum Heads and is generally considered to be Hervey Bay’s most ‘Northern’ suburb. It is approximately 20-30 minutes drive from Hervey Bay and it is an idyllic small seaside community.

This seaside haven boasts a lovely restaurant, Goody’s (which is dog friendly), and a cafe/takeaway, the Salty Squid both are of a good standard and Goody’s enjoys a waterfront terrace.

Toogoom has its own boat ramp and fishing hotspots – well protected by the locals!  

There is a small local shopping strip with a milk bar and hairdresser.
