Getting Around

If you don’t have a car or just want to leave it at home for the day, there are still plenty of options out there for you to get around Hervey Bay and the surrounds.

Scooters for hire from Beam are a fun option but can prove expensive if you stay on too long!   You will find these scattered around but if you download the app you will be directed to the nearest one.

Uber and Didi are both available now in Hervey Bay and Taxis are on the usual telephone number 131008

For the more old school there is a pretty good bus service available from Wide Bay Transport getting you to all the places you need to go such as Stockland and the Train Station at Maryborough West.  The map below shows you the routes available and click on the map and and you can view the current timetable too!  If you are travelling around Point Vernon there is still an ‘on demand’ service – info below.
